There must be some point in your life when you sit down and think, "exactly whom should I trust?"

I quote this from Gervenne's blog,

"I can no longer trust anyone these days. Most of them are phony cheating asses whom are just pretending to be nice to you. Beware, almost all of them whom you think are such "good" and ohsokind people have hidden agendas. KNCCB."

She does have a really good point there.

There are skeletons in everyone's closet, nobody is as perfect as what you see on the outside.
Backstabbing is common in almost every teenager's life; whether he/she is the one doing the backstabbing, or being the victim of backstabbing.
Rumours go around endlessly,
it is up to someone to believe those rumours or not but funnily enough, most people choose to believe those rumours. As a matter of fact, those people are the ones who gladly pass the untrue rumours around.
When it reaches the point when your close friends get to know about it,
that's when you see their true colours.
That's when you'll know who fights to defend you,
that's when you'll know who's the untrustable bitch.

It is hard when you were the girl you were a few years ago,
the girl who seemed to live in everyone's shadow.
The girl who kept quiet, the girl who wouldn't dare to fight for her rights.
She did whatever people told her to do.
She was nice to everyone, and she thought everyone was nice to her too.

When she was newly brought into this cold, harsh world of backstabbing and rumours,
this girl fell.
This girl felt cheated, broken, her heart was torn apart.
After a while, she emerged - into a girl hard as steel, rebellious, immune to all this crap.
She had dark secrets, well who doesn't?
She never told anybody, after all she did not know who to trust anymore.
She became aggressive and fought for what she thought was right.
When she felt she was wronged, she told that person off, till this day she has not talked to that person again.

Why is it when you are vulnerable and nice to everyone, people tend to take advantage of you?

Why is it when you turn into an aggressive person who doesn't tolerate all this nonsense, people start to badmouth you?

This girl has learnt from everything that she has been through,
that in her life, there are only three people whom she trusts a hundred and one percent.
